Adhering to a treatment schedule is an important element in the effectiveness of treatment. If an appointment can't be kept, advance notice is requested and rescheduling is required.

After Hours/Emergencies
An LSO doctor or associate is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Travis County Medical Exchange, at 512.483.9036, will page the physician on-call.

Prescription Refills
Many prescriptions may be filled and refilled by telephone simply by calling your pharmacist, the earlier in the day the better, with the name of the medicine and the prescription number (found on the medicine bottle); the pharmacist will contact LSO for approval. However, certain controlled medications may not be filled by phone; they require a special written prescription that must be picked up at LSO.
