Brian J. Shimkus, M.D., LSO partner, attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his Internship/Residency at the University of Virginia Hospital in Internal Medicine. During this time he conducted research in the areas of Breast Cancer and Colon Cancer. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Medical Onocology and is an Associate Member of both the American Medical Association and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
